Live Music at Walmer Castle and Gardens

We were delighted to return to Walmer Castle and Gardens for an evening fundraising event in support of the castle.

With its historic surroundings and formal gardens, Walmer Castle provided an impressive setting for an evening bringing together guests and supporters. Among the special guests was Sir William Hague.

String Music for the Drinks Reception and Dinner

Premiere String Duo provided the live music throughout the drinks reception and dinner, performing a varied selection of classical and light music.

For an event such as this, live strings provide a natural musical backdrop. The music can be heard throughout the space without dominating conversations, helping to create a relaxed atmosphere as guests arrive, meet and move through the evening.

The duo performed a selection of pieces suited to the setting, moving between classical repertoire and lighter music as the evening progressed.

Returning to Walmer Castle

This was another opportunity for us to perform at one of Kent’s most distinctive historic venues. Walmer Castle and Gardens offers a range of spaces for private events, receptions and dinners, with the castle and surrounding grounds.

We regularly provide live music for events across Kent, adapting the size of the ensemble and repertoire to suit the occasion. For larger events, our Premiere String Quartet provides a fuller sound, while our String Trio and String Duo are well suited to more intimate receptions and dinners.
