Hever Castle Wedding String Quartet | Liz & Gile’s Wedding

We began at St Mary’s Church, Kippington, Sevenoaks, before moving on to the Tudor Suite at Hever Castle for the drinks reception and wedding breakfast.

The ceremony featured an impressive combination a vocal group, choir, organ and strings. Within the ceremony, a five-piece a cappella group performed The Lord Bless You and Keep You alongside the church organist. Our quartet, Premiere String Quartet then accompanied a specially arranged version of Hallelujah.

At Hever Castle, the atmosphere shifted to a relaxed afternoon in the Tudor Suite. During the drinks reception and wedding breakfast, we performed a varied programme that included musical theatre favourites, tangos and well-known pop classics. Look at our extensive repertoire on our website.

There were a lot of professional suppliers working hard throughout the day, It was a pleasure to perform alongside Cantuar from Canterbury Cathedral, while Pete from @toastypete1 kept the celebrations moving effortlessly. The day was expertly coordinated by @theplanneruk, with support from @amberlynn1536, who created a fantastic atmosphere during the wedding breakfast.

Hever Castle remains one of Kent’s most distinctive wedding venues, and its combination of historic interiors and beautiful grounds provides an excellent setting for live string music throughout the day.
