Recently, Premiere String Quartet had the pleasure of performing at the Fever Candlelight Concerts at All Saints, The Old Chapel in Eastbourne. The venue’s soaring acoustics and intimate lighting created the perfect backdrop for two contrasting one-hour programmes: 🎻 Vivaldi’s Four Seasons 🎬 The Cinematic Music of Hans Zimmer. An evening that blended classical tradition with modern film.

All Saints, The Old Chapel is already a striking space, but under candlelight it becomes atmospheric. The architecture enhanced the resonance of the strings, making every movement of Vivaldi and every sweeping Zimmer theme feel spacious, rich, and resonant.

The first concert paid homage to one of the most iconic works in classical repertoire.
